#2 Road to Sleepless Nights:

A Promise made. “Never Ever Chase the Killer with vengeance. Bring him before justice! “.

I knew that my father wanted me to stay on track. My father knew that I will be ruthlessly hunted down by the same group. I knew that my father wanted me to be safe and focus on life.

All I knew was I am in danger. All I knew was I will have many more sleepless nights like my dad used to have.

Witness Reallocation Program. I was asked to leave Madurai*, a night before Cremation of my parents. My Uncle took me under his custody in Tirunelveli*.

She was still afraid. But there were more confusions in the thoughts that clouded her. I bought her dinner. She hiccuped. I passed on the water bottle.

I called Mr.Red and gave her the Phone. A relief was what I saw in her eyes. She still retains the beauty she had when I saw her 5 years ago. I told Mr.Red about the current situation and promised him that his daughter will be safe, no matter what happens.

“Why do they call you Puravi* ? ”

“Why does it matter ?”

“Sounds Feminine. Anyway, It’s not your original name. Is it?”

“All you need to know is I am here to help you reach your father safely! That’s it. Now just sleep. We would be leaving early tomorrow!”

“But they had surrounded the City!”

Before I could speak anything, “Sorry. I eavesdropped. And they have the city police in their pocket.”

“That’s why we should leave this place. The moment they know we are stuck within their boundary, they would start sweeping each and every corner of this city!”

“Why me ?”

That’s the question I am asking myself ever since the mission failed. “Why me?” The sweet wet Kutralam* breeze was the one which woke me. A sigh of temporary relief. Kalanchipuram*, my native place consoled me.

iPhone 7 Rumors: What to expect ?

Water on Mars

Thanks to its carved topography, researchers have always suspected that Mars was once home to several rivers, lakes, and perhaps even oceans. There has even been some speculation about the existence of frozen water deep beneath the ground.

Mars is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere, having surface features reminiscent both of the impact craters of the Moon and the volcanoes, valleys, deserts, and polar ice caps of Earth. The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Mars are likewise similar to those of Earth, as is the tilt that produces the seasons.

Being very identical to our Earth, Mars was always a planet to be researched for understanding the Evolution of Earth. It also has been Elon Musk of SpaceX ‘a favorite candidate’ for construction of human colonies.

Are we in for a series of earthquakes?

In a post-Nepal disaster assessment, the MHA’s National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM) has warned of increased risk around the “ring of fire garlanding the entire north India especially the mountains”.

Netaji Files: Will the Declassification shed some light ?

On Jan 23, PM Narandra Modi made public digital copies of 100 secret files relating to Subhas Chandra Bose. Will it shed some light on the mysterious death of Netaji or is it just a political move?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 23rd made public digital copies of 100 secret files relating to Subhas Chandra Bose on his 119th birth anniversary, which could throw some light on the controversy over his death.

The timing of the release assumes political significance as West Bengal goes to polls later this year. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had already released 64 files last year. She will seek to cash in on the fact that she was the first to declassify the Netaji files.

Has the internet pinged the death of the newspaper?

“Newspaper publishers in developing markets are living on borrowed time.”

“Well, With exponential growth of Technologies, there is an increasing number of people who could afford at least a smartphone and also have an affordable access to internet. With the help of APPS and RSS feed, one could get instant flash news from the web. Who would want to have Yesterday’s news when they could get Instant News within a button’s click ?”

“But most of the leading newspaper have their own websites, mobile apps and have millions of followers on Facebook. The Local Newspapers could reach a wide diaspora. You still think Internet has declined Newspapers growth. I don’t think so.”

“Are you suggesting that Newspaper would still survive?”

“Not exactly. But all I am suggesting is that it wouldn’t disappear overnight.”

Low Key Enspirers

For the third time, I collaborated with Vignesh. N and this time the track was mind blowing. Though a small piece, we wanted to experiment from the start retaining the expectations that was demanded.

And this track emerged during Jamming Sessions for OutFocus Ad Theme. The Final version had few layers to be cut, albeit this stays the best in our collaboration till date!

A pogonophile's stance

When I was 8, to inculcate the habit of not wasting food, our teacher used to check our tiffin boxes after lunch. Whoever hadn’t finished their lunch were asked to meet the Vice-Principal outside class while the rest of the class continued with the regular schedule (proverbially, timetable). I never knew what it was that these kids who hadn’t finished there lunch, did with the vice – principal. Until, that one unlucky day, wherein I couldn’t finish all the rice my mum had packed for me in time.

As the strict and also my favourite English teacher peeped into my tiffin box which I was too scared to open, she took off her round-rimmed glasses and looked at me in surprise. She gazed at me and said, “Did you know, When you waste rice, you go directly to purgatory!”.
